I have 2 Helos BTR Gen2 2-12’s. Only issue is one eats batteries. I really like them and will buy 1-2 more. Hi Ben, Glad to hear you are enjoying your Helos 2-12's - those are very versatile scopes! As far as batteries go, I don't know what you are running, but I've always had the best luck with Energizer Lithiums. Any other battery recommendations out there?

That’s what I’m using. I thought I had left the illumination on inadvertently but simply having the battery in results in a dead battery.

If your illumination isn't working and you've already tried swapping out the batteries, just send it in and we will repair or replace it under our lifetime warranty. Click the warranty image on the homepage of our website and it will take you to a form you can fill out and return with your scope. Our warranty department will take care of you from there!
