Local dealer in my area has the Can-Am HD 7 defender and HD 9 defender in stock. Going to take a look at them next week but wanted to get everyone’s opinion on Can-Am and to see if anybody has been in the new HD 7 yet? Thanks.

My brother has a can am UTV, believe it’s 1000cc. That thing is very loud and center console area gets super hot in the summer. Not sure if that’s helpful, just my limited exposure to can am.

I've got a 2018 HD10XT and I can't say anything but good things about it. When I bought it I set out to buy a Ranger and there was no comparison. Also, was going to buy the HD8 but have had to wait 4-6 weeks for the 2019's to release so I took the 2018 HD10 for a few hundred bucks more than the 2019 HD8. It has about 3000 miles on it now and has been used strictly for hunting purposes. Only thing besides annual maintenance I have had to do to it was replace 1 clutch roller last year and that's because I don't put it in low gear when hauling heavy loads. Today we had a work day at the camp and I had 10 50# bags of protein pellets and 10 #50 bags of corn in the bed. Handles it like nothing. The rear end squats a good bit but it has plenty of power to haul whatever you can put in it or behind it. I can't say enough about mine. May replace mine soon with a cab model. Would be nice to be able to avoid the rain/dust/hot/cold etc etc. Good luck with you purchase.

I have a 2018 HD10 and love it. Very dependable.
