Yes,
Plains of Abraham. Perhaps same place.
Montcalm & Wolfe met their demise there.

Yes. Twenty-five, thirty years ago. Massive French & Indian plus American Rev War re-enactment. We camped on The Plains, underneath which is now a huge underground potable water reservoir. I remember shaving using one of the mushroom vents to put my toilet kit on. What looked like maybe a thousand men-at-arms or more plus artillery. Narration of the tactical exercise in French and English. Using up all of my blank cartridges far too soon...
Later, marching into the old part of Quebec City, the tramp of our shoes and boots over narrow cobblestone streets, along with the drums resonating in our ears and our unit commander requesting onlookers to please stand back, in French. Eating supper in a tavern built probably at the same time as the Old City, barely room for all of us, even without cocked hats, firelocks, bayonets and swords.
The time machine really worked that weekend...

Many times... the Plains of Abraham in Quebec City.
Quebec City and Key West are my favorite two cities in North America. Last time I've been in Quebec City was about 2002 tho. Took my wife there, which she loved the hell out of, even tho it was winter. Stayed at the Hotel Frontenac, knew she would love that also. Putting on the Ritz!
Wonderful time for her... If I was Donald Trump rich, I'd have a home in Key West and one in Quebec City.

No, but I recall a song from years ago that mentioned them:
"They signed a treaty and our homes were taken Loved ones forsaken, they didn't give a damn Try to raise a family, end up an enemy Over what went down on the Plains of Abraham"

Yes by force with my wife. I refuse to spend money in Quebec --- I had to speak at a conference in Quebec City and my wife extended the dates so we could see the old history. Very nice, amazing and I totally wish it was in another province.
