I remember my old poacher neighbor when I was a kid said that was the way to shoot them. He definitely didn’t want them running off! Haha! I’ve thought about it but always resort back to taking out wind or blood pumps!

There was a moose whisperer on AOD preaching his ability to direct them where to go (or not bo) to die. Shot placement was everything.
