Wrong chambering for me, 270 WSM. Stainless NH M70 in factory synthetic stock with a silver Weaver Grand Slam 4.5-14 in stainless Leupold STD’s. Looks little used with 2 1/2 boxes of ammo, G386XXX. $429.99.

I'd buy it even though I don't really want that chambering.Heck the scope and mounts are almost worth that much.Throw in 2.5 boxes of ammo and it's like getting a free rifle.

Sounds like a damn good deal.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Take a look at the fired cases if there are any in the 1/2 box of ammo. Make sure you are getting a good deep primer indent... a kid brought me a brand new one in .300WSM. No go boom every time. He was short on time with an out of state hunt coming up, so I never fixed it or even really knew what the problem was...the quick fix, I pulled the bullets way out on the factory loads, fire formed them and reloaded them for his trip to headspace on the shoulder. I think he lost patience and sold it that winter.
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

Y'all have done it. I just called them 10 minutes before closing and it is off the shelf with my name on it. With fifty pieces of once fired (eventually) brass I need to get some dies and a shell holder going. The STD's have to go. Thinking silver DD's as BSA often suggests.

Ed, I may have some once fired brass. If you handload. As for mounts and rings, blued also look good on a stainless rifle. Here's the last 7WSM I had. ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/SybtJNi.jpg) Bought in 2019, I believe, and paid $500 for it, so I'd say your deal was smoking hot!!!
