Looking at klassik 4-16x50 is the A7 without illumination useable in low light? Want this for all around elk rifle. Also any suggestions on ring height , rail with carbon barrel. Thanks

Yes it is a fine lowlight scope. W/O knowing what kind of action you have .

Going to hold off and wait for 3-12x42 bdc p3. Unless there is a reason the 4-16 A7 ASV is better

I had a 2.5-10x56 Klassik but mine was the Illuminated #4 (L3) and was very good in low light. The illumination is a nice feature especiallyif your hunting in low light situations. I ended up selling it and shouldn't have. I have now since bought a 4-16x56 Polar with same reticle after several chats with Bobby Tomek on the site. Its the best slow light scope that I've ever owned or looked through. But it is much more expensive than the Klassik.
