I bought this baby unfired 3 yrs ago out of an estate sale safe queen 'investment'. L461 1982 sporter barrel contour. I had my stock smith relieve the barrel tabs to fee float and re-finish to satin to get rid of the 80's bowling ball finish. Plus he added a limbsaver for non-slip when propped up and . This had floorplate-repeater. I plinked a bit at range and developed a load which shoot 5x under .2 and then back to safe. Max round count under 200. Bore is super bright. Haven't shot it in 2 yrs and I need a target scope so it is up for sale. Contact me for additional pics or whatever. Rifle+lightweight Talleys $1500 to your ffl on your dime how you want it sent. I will take the vx2 for 400 I will sell rifle first as the scope is mounted and dialed in. If rifle buyer dosen't want scope then you have first dibs. ( pic has a swaro before I put on the vx2)

One be hard pressed to build a precision field rifle with Kelblys action and top tier barrel that will shoot better than this rifle! Something about their hammer forged barrels. I have a Sauer 30-06 of same era will be posting shortly. It is 5x .25 moa hot or cold at poa.

Hey I didn't get upset over it but a lot of people sell the scope off a rifle before selling the rifle, if that was the case I wanted to buy the scope. H said I would be first in line for the scope if it didn't go with the rifle.
