Because it works. I developed a load for my Tikka T3x from information I used from another guy who had a Howa. And his information matched another campfire member who had a Winchester 70. So it does work and when it doesn't work, at least it gives you somewhat of a starting point so you don't go wasting powder, primers, etc. My load works in (3) of the (4) 308's (Tikka T3x and 2 rem 700's) that I have and the only reason it doesn't in the 4th, my CTR, is I haven't tried them yet. So stop being an ass and add value to the mans question rather than comment on everyone's reply to him. Just a thought.

In multiple firearms been hunting with the 130TSX, Lapua brass, 210m primer, 49gr Varget and crimped in the shortest channel since before the TTSX at this point. I'm shooting a Weatherby Mark V and M77. When I switched to the TTSX all I did was load to the same COAL.

Kenneth check the usual suspects scope and stock torque. I have heard plenty of good reports about TAC.

Rifle and scope is torqued to spec , it shoots .3’s-.6’’s with most cup and core and 110 TTSX’s
I have loaded some more with tac , 748 , 760 , and 8208
8208 produced a .9” group the other day, so wanted to see if it was a steady performer
748 I had to drop back 4 gr to get the bullet to seat .05 off the lands

Some years back, I called Barnes at least a couple of times about data. They would connect you with one of their loading techs. Very helpful and they had other data handy, data that had not been published. I don't know whether they still provide such a service.
