Anyone use a small greenhouse to start their plants? If so care to share the info?

I did for several years. Built one using cattle panels and plastic. It worked pretty good, but I have a bunch of Mennonite greenhouses around me, and I can buy whatever I need, whenever I need, at a price that pretty much makes it impossible for me to justify the time and cost of growing my own. But, I did enjoy raising my own plants.

On my to-do list eventually.
I want to grow a few things all winter.
Thinking something 10x14, cinderblocks from a footer up about 3 feet. Dirt floor. Door at each end. Raised beds on each side, walk way down the middle. 2x4 wood frame, heavy mil construction plastic inside and out for a double layer and air space. Thermostat controlled fan to vent for really hot weather, small electric space heater for the short span of cold weather here.
