I've worn out a couple 243 barrels on my Dakota but finally rebarreled to 22-250 after getting two 6CM Fieldcrafts.

Also action is 80/36 inch lbs. Going to buy some torque stix and they come in 35 or 40. What are your guns liking,closer to 35 or 40. I’ve had a couple people say the 6CM erodes throats quicker than a 243, which is saying something. They are becoming more expensive, but used ones pop up for decent prices. Particularly the 8400 WSMs, and 84Ms in something like a 243 too.
