So, what is your guess or what rumors have you heard......???
ALASKA is a "HARD COUNTRY for OLDMEN". (But if you live it wide'ass open, balls'to the wall, the pedal floored, full throttle, it is a delightful place, to finally just sit-back and savor those memories while sipping Tequila).

Not enough.... this year at least. Been spending money like drunken Admirals at Mustang Ranch!

Some funny math going on. Fund is worth 75 billion. If it only earned 4% interest that’s 3 billion. Divide that by maybe 750,000 resident and that comes up to $4k per.

Yep thats some funny math for sure. But the state can pump money into building the Ambler road for a private foreign company while shorting the people on PFD's as well as education, road maintenance , ADF&G funding etc. Funny math for sure and most Alaskans aren't getting the benefit..

Alaskans are being ripped off big time. The fund is valued at almost 80 billion. If it only made 5 % interest every resident should receive over $5,000. That’s based on the current population of just under 800,000 citizens.

There is a formula in state statute, but the legislators want the money for government and buying votes.
What they are doing is illegal.

.........The fund is valued at almost 80 billion......... That right there is proof of incredibly piss-poor management. The Norwegian Oil Fund, established 14 after the Alaska Permanent Fund, now sits comfortably at $1.62 trillion (USD). It has been the world's largest single sovereign wealth fund in terms of total assets under management for several years now. But, of course, they don't hand out its assets to folks to buy cheap Chinese junk, vacations to enrich Hawaii and Mexico, or to enrich dope dealers. In fact, we could use just one years dividend amount to build the largest prison in America on Fire Island. We sure need it...........

Thanks again Bill Walker. In the long list of piss poor governors in this state, I rank him pretty close to the top
