Took my Son out for a end of the school year celebration hunt. We were lucky enough to bag his first hog. He used his Traditions Outfitter in 300 blkout with 150gr Winchester deer season xp. Good deal, glad you and your son got to go hunt together and he had success. Means a lot to a young man, makes a lifetime memory.
Hogs here on the farm are destructive and I shoot them on sight, not many around right now.

Imagine if all the people drawing food stamps had to buy a hunting license and hunt to fill the freezer what a dent that could make in hog numbers! Might as well make them grow a garden for food also. Supply the seed's and get out of the way. My grandfather hunted and so did all my uncles. They also grew gardens and grandma canned their efforts. Wasn't any welfare back then!
