I was looking at buying a new SxS and was looking at the Kawasaki SxS due to the great warranty. My dad just one ealier in the year and has about 30 hours on it. He got a letter to stop using it due to a fire hazard. I don't see anything online about the fix. I really like the new Ridge model, but maybe I wait a year to get the kinks worked out. I forgot the model my dad is running, but here is a pic.

That little beauty cost me a Jeep with its heater and comfort compared to my 4 wheeler. My wife said it was a lot more comfortable and wanted something similar.

I convinced her to get a used jeep for a few thousand more than the SxS she was eyeing. We are able to use the Jeep for daily use, but it won’t go all the places your SxS would. We took the compromise.

It was amazing to see how fast yours would cover rough terrain. Thanks again for showing us those trails.

Some friends got a good deal on a new one a year or so ago. Went riding with them not long ago and the thing impressed me. Its pretty large, but seemed like a good smooth ride and plenty of power. Too bad to hear they seem to have issues.

Brother and I were riding in my 2019 FXT Ranch yesterday and I told him I’d buy the same machine again if I was put in that position.

I have a 2022 FXR with the 3 cy.inder 812 cc engine. I like it. Had a Honda Big Red previously and that was a good machine too. I am past riding them like you stole them so the smaller engine is fine with me.

What issues? In my family we have three Pro FXT's, no issues. Mine had the recall work done that was mentioned above, but had I not received the letter, I never would have known their was an "issue".
I've had a few UTV's, ATV's, and trucks of various makes over the years that had recalls for something or the other.

BTW this recall was for something like a exhaust manifold placement possibly collecting debris and being a fire hazard. Nothing mechanical.
