When I saw that Lipseys and S&W partnered together on the new Ultimate Carry, I knew that I had to grab one.

No ugly lock hole, actual sights and good grips, I was sold.

About 10 years ago I had a 642 but was never super confident with the recoil from +P 38s.

A local’ish dealer to me, Exile Armory, that advertises heavily on YouTube posted a video saying that they got in a 632UC, I called them up and put down a deposit.
I picked it up the day before I went on vacation so I haven’t had an opportunity to shoot it yet.

Really curious and excited to try the 32H&R magnum, from what I’ve read, it is the perfect snubnose cartridge in terms of recoil and the added +1 capacity over the more common 38/357 snubs.

Before I had the gun, I reached out to famed holster maker Robert Mika and had him make me a pocket holster.

Isn't it chambered in .327 Federal Magnum? Why wouldn't you want to carry those in the gun? Can't imagine the kick would be too terrible.

No, the 632UC is chambered in 32H&R.
The standard Airweight frame cannot take the stress of 327 and would have required the use of the scandium/titanium/exotic high dollar alloys which would have resulted in a price point of $1,100ish.

Nice rig. It should do everything you ask of a snubby.

Should boost sales of .32H&R, then.

Nice. Mackay Sagebrush posted a nice review of his not too long ago.
And he’s got a great price on his Lost River 32 H&R Hard Cast Wadcutter ammo.

I’ll be buying a new “.32” Revolver soon.
As Ruger claims they are finally releasing their LCR Revolver in .327 Fed Mag with the 3” barrel and adjustable sights.
After nearly 6 or 7 years of saying they were going to mfg one in that configuration. 🤪

Should be the Ultimate “Kit Gun” , IMO.
Though not really a “pocket gun” with the 3” barrel. 🤠

I had a S&W scandium Model 331 and shouldn't have let it go (as usual). I've been considering replacing it with a .38 of some sort - preferably a 6 rounder. After comparing the ballistics of Mackay's 38 Short Colt ammo, it looks like that would be a great combo while keeping the capability of 38 spl if I felt the need.

Has anyone tried the 38 Short Colt ammo?

Looks and sounds like the perfect pocket carry gun.

Congrats on your being able to get one, AU7MM08.

.327 mag out of my Ruger LCR is stoopid loud, think 30 carbine pistol loud. Very stout recoil as it runs a higher pressure than 357/44 magnums. Even in my Single Seven .327 it's sporty but manageable.

On paper it’s perfect.
I know it’s on the opposite end of the spectrum but it reminds me of the 9.3X62
The more prevalent 375H&H=38 is way more prevalent but has more recoil.

Cabela's in Thorton Co is listing SP 101 in .32 H&R @ $650. That is fair deal. The gun is probably made about 30 years ago so buyer will not need to deal with "Ruger Service Dept. Roulette".

My uncle in Ky. just bought one of those in .32 H&R magnum. Pretty cool little carry gun.

AU7MM08: Dang I like the looks of that revolver!
I have never had anything to do with that cartridge - please get back to us once you have shot it.
Enjoy.

It's been posted before but Lucky Gunner did an article on 32 cal snub nose revolvers, Link Here 5 or 6 years ago.

32H&R is my favorite snub nose and kit gun cartridge.

My snubbie is a 432PD

I help run one of the S&W groups on Facebook. Few members have bought those and really like them.

She's a cutie. I could watch her do that for an hour.
