Makes time less likely, no? I'm sure the SS has been working on a jail plan if that crazy judge sends The Donald to the big house... It would be awkward, no doubt. I don't think SS are allowed relinquish their weapons and the jail is a weapons free area, at least inside with inmates. Maybe a special wing, but do they have the capacity for a SS protected VIP inmate? This is a first, for sure. It will be interesting to see how they handle that. DF

A judge can assign house arrest...its almost never done, but in the case of Hunter & Trump; seems like the most practical idea. Its not like you're going to put someone with SS protection in Gen Pop even though idiots on both sides would like to see that.

The IRS whistleblowers said Hunter had 100 shell companies and moved over $1M.... 20 years for first offense.
Firearms violations are almost always plea bargained away, because some juror might know about the 2nd amendment.
But the firearm violation was Hunter's only charge that did not involve the big guy.

A similar case,where the defendant was convicted of a singular felony and this same judge gave the defendant one year in prison.

If the Secret Service has the authority by law to shut down major airports while the President or his aircraft is there , what makes anyone think they can't clean out a whole prison? I guess the same people that think Trump will be sharing a cell with another inmate in Rikers thought it was just a coincidence Trump wasn't at home when the FBI executed a search warrant on Mar a lago.

If he ever sees the back side of a set of prison bars it will be in some "Club Fed" facility that would put the amenities of a 5 star hotel to shame. That's about as likely as finding a chicken with lips or an honest politician, however!

If Brandon wins, he pardons Hunter the next day.
