My daily driver gets washed at the local car wash, $6, does a nice job, about 2-3 times a month.
My summer driver is hand washed as needed.

I used to hand wash only but my time is worth more than that now so it is the "all you can wash for $25 a month" drive through now.

I hand apply Griots Ceramic. If I ask the GF nice - she'll do the wash and clay bar prior. We'll split washing, she likes doing it so I let her.

In the winter - I run through a touchless wash with undercarriage to mainly keep the salt/brine off as much as possible, not so much to have a squeaky clean rig.

My truck and the family RAV4 get washed at least once a year,

whether they need it or not.

And like the Wilson guy, I have an old can of the paste version of the Ice "wax" they get after a good wash. The can seems to last awhile when I only wash the vehicles once a year or so.

Drive through car wash maybe 2 or 3 times a year.

I handwash the boat. That’s a big enough time suck.

My wife has an Equinox.
It’s a smaller vehicle so I still hand wash it quite a bit.
My truck is split about even; half hand wash and half car wash, mostly due to time constraints.

Depends on the vehicle. 😀
Most of my vehicles are just a step or two from the junkyard, so I don’t bother to much.
My current pickup has good paint, and it’s worth the time so I hand bath it whenever possible and rub it in with old school paste wax, hand buffed. During my the winter months, weather permitting I’ll put it through the no touch wash for 12 or 15$ .
I keep after the windows if nothing else, keep them clean and coated with Rain-ex because it sheds rainwater and keeps the bugs from getting too bad.

We haven't had a good rain here in months. The cars are showing it, too.

Both my pickup's the wife's pickup, the wife's car and the ski boat. All get washed by hand and hand waxed.

I run outta time, what with not using self checkout and churning my own butter and hand loading all my ammo and hunting with an empty chamber and sharpening all my knives every Wednesday and not going to the Walmarts in 49 years.

I enjoy washing the vehicles, so in the Summer time I hand wash at home, in the Winter I do it in the big pay by the minute car wash place. I can clean em way better than the brushless waterjets which never seem to get the dirt and grime off the back end.
