20 acres, 18 of it timbered.

4 dogs.

8 rabbits have showed themselves this evening, something we have few of but they seem to be doing better this year.

1 less tomcat than a week ago and 1 less critter.

We have quite a few voles. Hate them bastards.

No way to count em, but more than 10.

Are they the little stub tailed gray ones?

Yup, little bastards.

One and about 50,000. Honeybees.

My bud Tyee got cancer in his spleen and we had to put him down last year. Having a hard time getting another one. Loosing them is hard on me.

A little over 160
Multiple animals depending on the year. A dozen chickens, dog and cat are constants.

Mild winter likely had a lot to do with it; but I don't think it was quite as bad for me as last year. I had a pair of horned owls nested here this year. Rest of year could be bad as grasses ripen.

We got back from Ft Peck this afternoon to find a momma mouse on the glue trap with a bunch of babies on the floor next to her.

Let in border collie to dispatch the babies. Of course all she did was try to herd them around.

English shepherd gobbled them right up.
Assume you were fishing jim, how walleye? We went to last mountain up by Regina, didn’t do very well, biggest walleye only 291/4 and not a lot over 25. Poorest trip we’ve had up there. Lots of wind and cold though and lost at least 1 and 1/2 days.
Should have went to hell creek but that damn road if it rains can keep you there for awhile, good ole Montana jumbo.
Hope you had a good one.

Only 1.2 million in real estate.

I hunt public land, which is way too difficult for you. It's best you stick to shooting runt deer in the hayfield and eating beef from Walmart.

We did have a good one....we took the kids to Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Ft Peck theater!

Hahahaha! They loved it.

We gotta get over there and go fish. Looked great. We just have never fished there before.

Sorry you didn't have much luck.

There are those who argue that the constitution doesn't give the government the right to own property so federal public land legally belongs to the states. Some states would love to sell it off to the highest bidder, meaning that they'd sell it to the ultra wealthy for their private playgrounds and the rest of us would be shut out.
