Looked like bleeding from the ear. Hope it was a glancing shot. That’s what it looked like to me, too. I thought he dinged his ear when he dove for cover, but he reaches up and grabs it before doing that so did indeed get shot or at least catch some splash.

Just a nick on an ear will bleed like hell. Appears that the shots came from below and a slug grazed his ear. Hard to believe no-one else was hit that's why I think the trajectory came from below to his right. Sure it wasn't a pro, Thank God.
