Never have asked or heard before…

It has a shelf life and quite a few people have paid $300+ to ge ta tank drained and flushed. So I guess there are sensors to alert the owner.

There are sensors to detect expired or bad DEF tank has to be removed to be drained truck goes in limp mode! I bought a DEF testor and buy fresh DEF just could not find it right now. Buy the cheap Wall Mart DEF cause it does not sit around DEF storage is worse at warmer temps.

Not trying to be a smart ass, but damn I’m glad I bought my 2012, Ram 6.7 W/O Def, salesman called me and said you need to buy this last year non Def , just came in, love this HD with out the worries of catalysts antifreeze. Hell I think all the tractors for several years are Def now, maintenance is hard enough anyway.

Kurt, Costco had pallets of DEF yesterday.

Used to buy the jugs when I had my F350. Went gasoline for about 5 years but back to a diesel now. Was surprised to see the Buccee’s store by me has DEF pumps by the diesel pumps! Cheaper than the jugs too!

Would never buy a def truck. Heck won't buy a truck with wheel air pressure sensors. Also no 6l diesel anything.
Been stocking up on ole 7.3l trucks.
