Anyone have the BC's for the these two Hornady's?<BR>.224 60g V-Max and the .257 120g HP<P>Thanks in Advance;<BR>Bend<BR>

FYI;<BR>According to Hornady Customer Service, the 224 60 grain V-Max has a BC of .265. I've been developing loads with these in a 22-250 AI. Seems 45 grains is about max with RL22. 44.5 grains gives 3550 fps from my 26 inch bbl Ruger 77 Mk II V/T.<BR>Bend

I'm not sure if it was you but somebody posted the same question somewhere else (don't remember where). I answered the .25 cal question but did not know about the .22 cal bullet. Thanks for the info. Sean

Soon I plan on moving to a spot about 100 miles west of you.<P>I imagine that the VMAX shoots better for you? I bought one box each 55 gr Ballistic Tips and 55 gr VMAX and I can't see much of a difference, accuracy-wise, between them in my Encore.<P>Is the VMAX a better varmint load, as far as bullet performance? I know that the BT is just downright explosive on crows and gravelrats, but I haven't gotten a game shot in with the Hornadys yet.<P>Please let me know of your experiences with these loads!<P>Good shooting,<P>Jonesey<BR>
