I'd like to try out a husqvarna rifle. A 6.5x55 or 308 and others are possible. Let me know if you have anything. Thanks

I have a couple 1640s (6.5X55 and 9.3X62) but there are other variations...military and commercial.

I have a M38 '44 Husqvarna 6.5X55, the scarcest year, in all original military config (except for import mark). Let me know if interested.

Cabela's Gun Library has a couple of 1600 series HVAs listed on their site.
The BPS in Ft. Myer, FL, had a 1600 series HVA with a Mannlicher-style stock a couple of weeks ago, but it has probably been sold by now, a pretty uncommon configuration here in the U.S.

I have a really clean 1640 in 6.5x55 that have been been gone thru by Dennis Olson (bedded, trigger tuned, and recoil pad) It would have to as a package with 300+ pieces of Norma brass, Redding dies, and 195+ Barnes LRX bullets. If that is something you are interested in, shoot me a PM and we can go over the details.

I have a 1640 action, so you can build whatever you want. It originally had a Canjar single set trigger that had issues. I took the rifle apart, and was going to rebuild but never got further than adding a Dakota 3 position safety and buying a Timney trigger for it.

Thank you everyone I have several I'm looking at. I never heard of Simpson LTD. Thanks for sharing. I've bought a couple dozen rifles from Simpson LTD and have found that the descriptions aren't always accurate. Before you buy from them, I recommend calling them and asking them to pull the rifle and have it in their hands when they call you back to describe and grade that specific rifle. They buy used rifles from Europe by the shipping container load and with so many rifles to grade they tend to run together. That said, if you're ever passing by Galesburg, IL, on I-74 a side trip to the Simpson LTD store is an opportunity to experience sensory overload, so many gun and so many uncommon guns spread among them.
