Any one ever have the throats of their Ruger Single-Six, Bisley's, etc reamed to an appropriate dimension?
From my 7.5" SS Bisley all 6 six cylinders clear .225" minus .0002" pin gage. .226" pin gage will only fit each chamber, not passing through the throats.
Just wondering...

First thought: I wouldn't necessarily consider that a wrong measurement. What matters is bore diameter .. lands and grooves .. then compare that to the cylinder throats.
Second thought: I have not had a .22 rimfire done. I had a .38-40 cylinder for a convertible blackhawk done. I sent only the cylinder to Bowen Classic Arms and told them what diameter I wanted. You could see if they do rimfires as well.
Anyone who thinks there's two sides to everything hasn't met a Mbius strip.
Here be dragons ...

Never thought about having a 22lr done. I currently have a 45 colt cylinder with Fermin Garza to be opened up. I'll have to ask him if it's worth doing on a 22lr.

If,,, I'm understanding this correctly, the throats are already on the large size @ .225 as a 22 RF bullet is .222-.223 dia.

I bought a .45/.45ACP Convertible quite a few years ago. It shot really well for me, equally well from either cylinder.
The .45 cylinder had been reamed /honed before I got it. It seemed a little rough but whatever it worked. No idea what dimension they were. Nothing was done to the ACP cylinder.
By the way, I sold the pistol with stock grips on it but kept a beautiful pair of Eagle Sambar Stag grips for it. If anybody is interested. Small amount of “bark” on them, they look almost like ivory.
I had those grips on a three screw .41 mag Blackhawk for awhile also.
