Just a heads up, if you are eating fruit, you are eating carbs.

Lots of sugar and not good for weight loss.

He’s still skinny and tall to this day. A lot of his family are tall and lanky people though. Guess it can be hereditary to some point?

Yes, I do believe that heredity plays a large roll……potentially contributing to a fast metabolism.

I’m blessed with a fast metabolism, thankfully…..because I overeat pretty much every meal. When I was younger, I could eat (and often did) eat 3 Whoopers, a large fry, and large drink….. at 6’ tall stayed under 170 pounds

I no longer eat like that, but do inhale a lot of calories, while hovering just over 200 pounds. Though, I am fairly active…..which certainly helps. memtb

It really is a great video on how to have a good diet and be successful at sticking to it. It's from a guy who knows what the "F" he is talking about unlike many of the guys posting here. Too bad nobody has the time to give it even a few minuets.

IF Works RDW, I can't even eat two meals a day anymore. When I eat my 1 meal a day I eat what ever I want and the weight stays off!

Good call Sir!

That is a lot of progress. good for you.

Lost 26lbs in 10 weeks (was 250 - 6'1"). The first 15 or so was easy.
Got a bad leg (titaium) so I'm doing low impact, walking, dumbbells.

I cut way back on carbs (pasta, bread, rice, potatoes). Keep track of everything I eat(calories and carbs).

It's getting harder now to loss.

PS. was asystematic but had 2 blockages had 2 stents 3 weeks ago.

The former fatties are almost as tiresome as the vegans, born agains and recovering dopers/alkys. One announcement that you have conquered sloth/self indulgence is adequate.

LOL

Started losing weight last September because it hurt to bend over and tie my shoes. Last October at my annual physical, the Dr said I am diabetic. I cranked it down hard and lost 35 pounds this last year. I have 10 to 15 more to go. Last A1C was back to 5.7. It should be even lower next month. A bonus, my cholesterol is way better and more balanced. I stopped drinking much milk, no soda or beer, little bread or potatoes. Sandwich is open faced or NO BREAD. More green stuff and meat! I want desserts but shy away from them. I drink lots of water with lemon and little tea. I'm getting used to the diet and may worry the neighbors for decades to come. RZ.

I did watch it...and as usual you are pissy because everyone doesn't want to do as you do.

You are fortunate stxhunter!

I can gain 30 lbs. a month, all I would have to do is to eat 3 squares a day, been that way since a very early age. I have conditioned myself to eat "Intelligently" long ago because of that.

I gain all the weight I lost do to injuries that restricted my mobility, I have been a weight trainer and runner for decades, when I had to stop I gained it quick, but lost it just as fast.

In any case I am jealous of people with great metabolisms!

It is an informative and well thought out video. I’ll certainly employ some of it in my routine. I could do without all the “F” bombs though.
