Coolest, crazy accurate, super low recoil, just plain fun cartridge ever! Did I mention accurate.. I finally had a chance to get some of these loaded again at the request of some guys who wanted them for their 329 Scandium Smiths, and one guy who wanted some for his Bulldog, as well as a couple guys who are using them in Flattops. It has been a bit since I have done a run of these, and I forgot just how fun they are.

Those look fantastic! I have loaded some 250gr SWC in the Russian case, over 5.0gr Unique. They shoot very well through the 44 Magnum also. Three of the 44 Russian, alongside three of the 44 Magnum,

Do you have some available for sale now? I’d like to order a box if you do. I didn’t see any available on your ammo websight. Please PM me when you do.
No hurry, I know you’ve had a lot to deal with after your daughter’s ATV accident. Hope they are both much better now.

Looks very cool. A bucket list item is one of the Uberti repros, of the S&W #3, in .44 Russian. I have yet, unfortunately, got a deal on one. And to really far out there, there also some Spencer reproductions, in .44 Russian

I have been having fun with these .44 Russian Wadcutters! It is simply enjoyable to take a big gun like a Model 29 out and shoot it with such a mild load and get such great accuracy. Very fun, Took it for a little walk up a creek where I was shooting as I spied some movement, as it ended up it was badger. Never did get a clean shot at it. I was so focused on trying to locate it in the underbrush I didn't notice a big old Black Angus bull was tucked back in the shade of the willows and mud by the creek. I caught movement and he stood up. I realized I was WAY too close and clearly this was his turf, so I did a hasty 180 degrees and told him he was a good bull and I was leaving. Figured I would just head back down the creek and do a bit more shooting and leave both the badger and the bull alone.

Glad to see you are getting some recreation time. Love that Sparks holster as well as the grips on the 29.

Thanks,
It has been a rare thing to get out but getting better these days. The grips are some from RJM. I had a set of Herretts Ropers he liked so we swapped.

Not to hijack this thread, but if you're looking for well made custom grips, Scott Kolar is a retired USAF Major and makes custom grips for S&W, 1911, Ruger and others. Scott's a standup guy! https://www.skgrips.com/

I wish I could get them in Canada.
I'm going to be in Wyoming in two weeks, but I'm not sure I want to roll the dice ad chance it that the Homeland Security boys/gals don't check us before we get back north of the Medicine Line.
I would like to try some in my S&W 69 though!

Brilliant, great bullet, great load!! I'd live to see a .45 Colt version in the 200gr range, but all seem to be in the 240gr weight range.
