John Boy: Your "guess" was correct. The author was simply mistaken and uncareful on top of that. He should have proofed his "article" better. Naw 357/38 special are actually very close in designation of bullet diameter. But mathematically 6.5mm is .257 not .264, 7mm is 280 not 284. Seems quite the quandary that they cant get dimensions correct. 😳 Bore diameter is being quoted by your maths, bullet diameter is obviously larger…
