Repair and customizing reels has been a hobby of mine for a long while, ever since I lived in Alabama and learned to clean reels out of necessity from fishing the Warrior/Tenn Tom Waterway. I have sort of become a smith of sorts for customizing and repairing reels. My favorites to work with are the Chronarchs and ABU 3600's.
Skipper

I clean my reels and I have made a reel out of a few junked ones!, swap the gears around in them. I work on spin-cast reels and spining reels. I have not opened up a baitcaster yet( I only have 2)because I might not get it back together.
J.R.
