Warmest "work" Mittens......???
And the WARMEST boots with TRACTION.....???

ALASKA is a "HARD COUNTRY for OLDMEN". (But if you live it wide'ass open, balls'to the wall, the pedal floored, full throttle, it is a delightful place, to finally just sit-back and savor those memories while sipping Tequila).

What kind of work?

For me if really cold, I’d keep a pair of poly gloves on and put mitts (choppers) on over them. Mitts on/off for dexterity.

If you take the time it takes, it takes less time.

I would describe it as "light" work. I like mittens because I can simply flick my wrist and the mitten flies off, exposing my trigger finger for employment. That is the same reason I have drifted away from gloves.

AGL, take a look at black diamond guide mitts and guide gloves.

Mostly what I run as I need dexterity, and grip. Crushed 2 finger tips and another finger was bit open to the bone in a dog bite. Even though healed these 3 fingers that get painful as heck when working on stuff with bare hands in below zero.

Good leather in the black diamond gloves.

Hestra and Outdoor research mitts and gloves have been frail, cold garbage compared to the black diamond stuff.
