There is a mountain of research and information out there that establish irrefutably that conservatives are happier. Not just here, but almost universally across the globe. Answers as to why are widely varied. Some of the answers suggest that religion is a factor.

I believe there are other reasons. Look at the kind of information we expose ourselves to. Many of us here don't live in the negativity of mainstream media. Liberal media is full of anger, hate, intolerance and pessimism. When Trump was elected the first time it was a 4 year barrage of negativity. Conservatives rejoiced. When Biden was elected, liberals stayed angry the whole damn time. Conservatives weren't happy about it, but we largely laughed it off and made the best of it.

When things aren't right in the minds of liberals they look elsewhere for the blame and the solution. Conservatives tend to be more introspective and more likely accept responsibility for their own happiness. I'll go a step further. Most people have a modicum of a moral compass. To be a liberal is often to be a hypocrite. How can anyone with a moral compass not suffer with their own hypocrisy.

A think tank queried AI on solutions to today’s problems. The solutions were overwhelmingly conservative. A conservative lifestyle breeds success and happiness it seems.

Conservatives are more family oriented too which in most cases, leads to happiness. Look at the liberal purple haired loud mouths that are shaving their heads (I guess in spite of the purple hair?) and swearing off men. I’m pretty sure they aren’t hurting any conservative leaning men but just the beta male [bleep] they are used to running with.

I do think religion is a big part of it too. In my circle of friends the least happy one is a non Christian but very much a conservative. He’s just miserable 75% of the time and sometimes tough to be around. But, he’s an Independent like me, hates government like me so we see eye to eye on 99% of the issues. He’s just angry all the time…. I don’t have any liberal friends, liberal/democrat family but I stay away from them as much as possible.

You ever read the posts here? A bunch of negative nancies and whiners. We took the WH, senate and house and all everyone does is bitch.

They comprise a small but vocal minority of our members.

Conservative women have hair on their head, Liberal women don't and have it everywhere else.

Liberals hate everyone, including other liberals. They hate themselves. They hate life. Self-loathing is the foundation of liberal thought.

Compare Shannon Bream to Rachel Maddow or Toni Lehrer to Joy Behar and I think we see the reason.
