Looking for a 1-7, 1-8” tikka or Remington, Kimber, and maybe a Ruger American. 223, 223 AI, 22-250, etc. bonus points for a shorter stainless barrel and threaded for a can. Please no heavy firewood stocked savages or thereabouts.

RemArm 700 adl in 223 1:8. Plenty of room for extras. Chop to 20", thread, extened box, possibly a stock. Stretch the project and you'll have a bomber for under 1000.

Tikka offers a 1:8 twist 22-250. Ruger offers a 1:10 twist 22-250.

The 5.56 Ruger American Ranch Gen 1 or Gen 2 are both 1:8 and threaded. The Winchester XPR 223 can be had with the threads and 1:8

.223AI, 20”, stainless PacNor, 1:8”, 700 custom shop action, Mt.Rifle contour, bedded in a wood mt.rifle stock. Unfortunately not threaded. Shoots 77gr TMK into little groups. Great gun just not getting used.
