No SK, but have a waxed filson "wildfowl" hat (as they now call it). Waxed, lined with wool, with ear flaps. Thing stinks so bad, I haven't worn it in years. Would like to figure out a way to get it smelling better. It's a great hat.

I have one of those; yes, a great hat. Also have a wool SK which I wore to kill a buck up in NY a few weeks ago and have also been wearing to kill deer here in South Carolina (latest was day before yesterday) because it's been so damn cold here lately. (Also, the MIL is staying with us through the holidays and it was a Christmas gift from her, so I'd better wear it.)

I wore my Alpacas of Montana Extreme Warmth Windstopper Hat a few days while elk hunting in early Nov.

Featherweight6555: Not yet.
Maybe about Christmas time - was 48 and sunny with no wind here in SW Montana today. Supposed to be 47 tomorrow.
The Mule Deer in my yard were all laying in the "shade" trying to stay cool!
Nope still to warm for choosing one of my several Stormy Kromers yet.

I wore mine this evening when my dad and I went to the ranch to shoot a buck. It isn’t very orange anymore but it is lucky!

Wore mine on my Oregon elk, rainy cold, and lots and lots of hunters. More hunters than I have ever seen in that unit.

Been wearing mine every time I hunt. Love that hat.

I seen on the SK website that they sell about 80,000 hats a year.

I'd like to try an orange waxed. I'll need to be looking for one.

My wife and I both have those on order. I'm old enough that I don't care what it looks like as long as it's warm and fits my big head.

Yes, I’ve worn both of mine, as has my wife. Without fail someone compliments the hat.
