We got our adult son an orange "Rancher" model for Christmas. I'm sure he'll wear it this last week of the season.
January 1st will be another season in the books.

Its a spanking new one as well. I sent the company a email last year reporting that my blaze orange Kromer faded
Badly. On its own it faded. Just like the color evaporated. They sent me another one complementary. I’m guessing this one will do the same thing.
I e mailed the company as mine was really faded too. They told me the only thing they could do was give me a discount on a new one. Anyways I took their discount and got a new orange one for $24.99

Shaman that is my colour SK got mine at the Leinenkugles tasting room, it is my favorite cool weather duck and coyote hunting hat.

40 years ago my first wife and I were in the middle of a friendly divorce until I came home to find her boyfriend wearing my favorite SK. I didn't mind him doing my wife but wearing my SK was over the top. It really pissed me off, I quite being nice about the divorce.

After the first shot the rest are just noise.

I wear one probably 6-8 months a year. I have waxed cotton, regulars, and ranchers. All depends on temps and activity level.

My wife and I both have those on order. I'm old enough that I don't care what it looks like as long as it's warm and fits my big head.

They're very comfortable and plenty warm but their 'guarantee' of -31 is BS. I could slightly feel cold on my ears at about 13F. The hat should be good down to close to 0 but not even close to -31.
One thing - it doesn't mess with my hearing aids like Stormies do. No feedback at all.

Still wear mine almost every time I go outside from December to the end of March. When it's below 20f or so it goes over a balaclava.

It was -13 here yesterday morning. A ski mask wouldn’t have been out of line let alone a Stormy Kromer.

It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
