Having been in a situation or three in a previous life where daily showers or baths weren't not only available, but could be detrimental to one's health ( you DO NOT want to go into 'Indian country' smelling like soap, deodorant or aftershave, because "they" will smell you and can make your life very unpleasant), I've come to appreciate a good hot shower.
