I am 77 years old, and that is a lot of Thanksgivings and cooked turkeys. I have never ate one with the dressing stuck up its butt. Other than that, it looks good. miles

48 here.

Was in my 30s and maybe even my 20s the last time I suffered a store bought turkey. Haven't missed it one bit.

How does sticking the dressing up the turkeys butt, make it better? I like dressing, "butt" it was always cooked in a separate pan using Turkey drippings and broth. miles

In the body cavity makes the stuffing tastier and savory. But if you can’t bring yourself to eat it, it leaves more of the premium stuffing for others - like me!

Yep. Eat the dressing, toss the bird. If you're lucky the dogs will clean it up.

If they didn't, no surprise

I would not hesitate to eat it, but that was never done where I was eating, and I have trouble with the concept. Seems like there would be very little stuffing, and a lot of work in the doing. miles

You can fit an entire box of stove top stuffing in the cavity of a bird.

Did that 3 hours ago.
