Might make a reveal post today. Gonna add a rear swivel stud, level up the scope, and load up 100 Sierra 170's in Winny hulls with Varget, then maybe do a photo shoot. I think this thing turned out pretty darn nice. Gonna make a SWEET little short deer carbine.

That came out really nice. I've got some forend work on a '52 SC for you when you get time.

I was right about this rifle being one of my top favorites, maybe THE favorite. It's an absolute pleasure to carry and handle.

Been passing up a lot of stuff I don't really want to burn a tag on so far this year. There's a good one on the farm that I'm being picky about waiting him out. Last I saw him through the binos he was busy running some smaller bucks away from a particular doe, and I haven't seen him since. So he's probably been locked down with her somewhere the past couple three days. He'll show again soon enough, and if I'm lucky he'll be in 30-30 range. Nice wide 8, long tall tines.

I just wanna say again how nice this rifle looks, and good job! I love those straight tang marlins! Here's a .444 I put together from a TK awhile back. Again, nice work and I hope you cross paths with that buck!

I have that same rifle in blue. Infact that's where the straight lever came from for this 30-30 build. The 444 is now wearing all the pistol grip stuff that was on this 30-30.

Ruger could sell a lot of marlins if they’d bring back stuff like the 1894 limited 16” carbines and Texan 336s. There’s plenty of demand for those but not many out there from original production in comparison to the demand.
