35 Remington.
That rifle is very slender, well balanced and a joy to carry.

When I started deer hunting here in Indiana 40+ years ago the bucks had small basket racks, I have seen the quality of deer steadily improve. The property owner's son where I did most of my hunting has put three bucks in the Hoosier Big Bucks record book. I got a look at a qualifier several years ago but no shooting opportunity, my best Hoosier buck is a 7 pt..

I think the best part of it all is passing the hunting tradition to your sons and most of all hunting with them!!!

Congrats to all of you for taking deer esp #3 son. I have had a bone marrow transplant and it takes a lot out of you.

Large racks are not uncommon in Indiana.
Last mount I had taken on the second morning of the season, the taxidermist had already taken in 5 over 170 inches in the past 24 hours.

I have seen pics of heads considerably larger than that.
