Thanks everyone. Hard part us everything in this house was connected to her so anything Itouch brings memories. And I spent 15 years going through cancer, failed hip operations, back surgery and last 3 years being on call day and night, then to hand feeding and bathing her. But it is only 2 days now too.
Do not discount the many good husbands on here either

Almost 7 months for me after 47 years together and 8 years cancer. It's the hardest thing I ever endured, so you have my sympathy. People have been very kind. They will help you. Nothing prepared me for it. I had to make small photo albums to have something to hold onto. You have to feel it to heal it they say. It takes time to adjust, hang on and let go. Be kind to yourself.
