If I would’ve been “pardoned” for anything and everything I had ever done in life I would have missed out on some ass whuppings as a kid, a couple of ass kickin’s as a teenager in high school, and even a little jail time as a young adult. I would have learned zero life lessons, especially how actions have consequences.
Hell, I’da probably turned out to be a damned democrat.

OP mistakes Biden’s covering his own ass by pardoning his son for loyalty to his son.
He pardoned Hunter because Hunter would inculcate him in seriously treasonous [bleep].
Biden doesn’t GAS about anybody but himself.
Now Teal’s question is an interesting one. Could Hunter be charged and fully investigated?
Remember the 4473 thing is a total distraction. We’re interested in the destabilization of Ukraine for purposes of money laundering, as well as treasonous influence peddling in China.
Those would send that whole family to federal prison for life.
Except Hunter now. He will have to go to state prison.

I still contend pardoning Hunter makes Hunter MORE dangerous to Dad and group than not. Because Dad and group are NOT (currently) immune from prosecution and now Hunter has to testify against them - if asked. As to the 4473 question I raised above - wasn't regarding Hunter tho I now see how one might think it was. Was more about the general pardon itself and that 4473 question is the only one I know of where you're asked if you're under indictment for a felony - not convicted but simply "we plan to try you". So does the pardon prevent the INDICTMENT or does the pardon only prevent the SENTENCE/FINDING OF GUILT - that's the question.

I want the [bleep] charged with the numerous accounts of molesting minors that the lap top PROVES. That and the money laundering and bribes that lead back to Joe and his Uncle and eventually Obama. Send 'em all to Gitmo and waterboard them just for fun. Then play the video at Christmas time every year, right after Rudolph.

Any further pardons will be confirmation of every accusation lodged against this criminal president and his criminal administration.

Your observation re: Hunter as MORE dangerous to slo Joe is astute; I’ve not heard of anyone mention that. I have no idea how this works in regards to the 4473. Honestly if I were a father in Biden’s position I’d likey pardon my son within limits. Of course for him it’s EXTRA because he dangled Hunter out there putting him in harms way. Sure frees Pres Trump up to issue mad pardons!

Worst case scenario would be Biden has a serious (?) stroke and can no long function as the President. A rapid 25th amendment meeting in Congress and Kamala is sworn in prior to January 20, 2025. Her first act could easily be that blanket pardon and Biden is off the hook regarding those pardons. A few months after 1/20/25 Biden makes a recovery from his disability from the stroke and returns to his former dementia befuddled life as an ex-President. Post stroke therapy is pretty drn good these days as my late wife went through it three times. First two worked quite well but number three was the finisher. Paul B.
