Looks to me that he ejected the second round without firing, when the Buck was point blank, and fired the 3rd. and last. Easy to do in the Heat of the moment.

Bet he had to bust out the dude wipes before he started dragging.

Damn that was cool. There's a real Woodchuck right there. Top of the mountain, in the snow, tracking him down, spittin' distance - I'm biased as hell so God bless all you guys who do it different (I do it different, too most of the time) but, that's deer hunting. Everything else is something less.

That was awesome! That deer just about looked like a moose coming out of those trees. Pretty nice offhand shot to the ribs too.
