Problem is: if the rifle is in the vertical position and i release the safety THE GUN FIRES
It does not do this if the gun is in the horizontal position ( I NOW HAVE 3 HOLES IN MY KITHCHEN CEILING)
had this gun for several years and i dont know if its always been like this or if its something new
Any help would be appreciated

It has a rekord trigger that sounds to me needs to have more sear engagement. If you google
Rekord trigger there are several YouTube tutorials that show you how to accomplish this by adjusting
the correct screw. Adjust the sear screw and try taking the safety off outside with the gun pointed in
a safe direction and loaded. Do not shoot a springer without a pellet in it as it can damage the piston.
There is a window (hole) in the side of the trigger group that will allow you to see the sear engagement.
After you get it to where it is working properly apply some fingernail polish to the sear screw to prevent
It from moving in or out from the vibration caused by firing the gun. Good luck.

What I found is that the trigger pull adjustment screw had backed it self out
After screwing it back in the problem is solved ( I think)
Thanks for the help

Please tell us you used the fingernail polish trick to set the screw in a "locked" position. RZ.
