Looks like red is the only option available now, any of you with experience using these to hunt think red is a problem? I’m going on my first float moose hunt this fall and it looks like this might be a good option if red doesn’t spook game to much.

Birds and fish have colour vision similar to ours. Or somewhat similar. Other animals do not. Red and orange are colours ungulates see differently, probably in shades of yellow or grey.

Wont be a problem. Have taken multiple moose with bow and rifle within 30 yards and less, adorned in red flannel shirt blue jeans, and sporting a Stihl chainsaw hat😉

KK I think I’ll have to get one. I got one that clips onto car/wheeler batteries but for getting dropped off on a water taxi or whatever it could be handy for sure. For at home still the ol wet/dry vac works like a champ.
Great buy! These are great rafts, wife has an XPD. I ran with the Alpacka raft for a few seasons, but had to be very aware of sticks and hazards due to the thin skin of that fabric. I've since moved to the Kokopelli Recon. The Kokos are heavier for sure, but so much more forgiving. Bombproof boats!

Guided a moose hunter this fall in an ORANGE jet raft. We floated by a book grizzly about 100 yards away. Pulled the raft over after we passed and killed him from a bit further away. He looked a number of times. He never indicated he saw the orange raft or me in my orange rain top...
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....
They make bigger ones , guys shot a moose on the Kenai and were going to pull moose small fork horn across the lake with 2 pack rafts. Some lash them together with poles to make a raft, its Alaska you use what you have and get it done!
