Just finished up some 139 grain Interbond 7mm Remington Mag reloads was using 68.0 grains of Magnum (a mild load). Got to thinking about it's replacement Grand.

Anyone have an opinion on one, the other, or both?

I purchased 3 pounds of Grand because I could get it and the price was right without knowing if it will work with anything I have.
Hoping it will work in my 300 wsm with 200gr. Bullets or 6.5 rpm.

Highcaliber, if it's anything like the other one I think you'll like it.

I picked Magnum for a my quickie project to get a starting load with a light bullet for a new to me rifle. Was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to work with and it turned in very good groups right off the bat. The muzzle velocity was also right where the Hornady manual said it should be, SD and ES were also good as you'd expect with 3 shot groups in the .600-.700" range

In case anyone is curious my random load is below

Hornady 139 Interlock
RP 1x brass
Ramshot Magnum @ 68.0
CCI 250

I've yet to try Grand, but it's available at my LGS and the price point is attractive like most Ramshot products.

Im having hard time finding load data for grand.
Ever since western powders got taken over/bought by Hodgdon. The reloading manual has not been very good

All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

Thanks
I saw that. But I like the old ramshot load data book better with variety of bullets.
This very basic, plain jane data.
Not impressed
