Anyone have first hand experience with these? Been wearing comfort fit hunters for years and thinking about trying the Kibo’s.

I don't have any experience with the Kibo's but have had many other pairs of Meindl's. I just got the Vakuum Hunters and am really liking them.

I'm surprised you are thinking about going back to Meindl after they failed you. I've given up on them.

IME, the Cabelas Meindls were not as well built as the Meindl Meindls. YMMV...

I’m on 2nd pair of the post cabelas Meindl USA boots with no issues. Tried a few other brands and nothing fit as good as they fit me.

Yep the Cabelas Meindls failed me. It was the 4th pair I had owned. I now own 2 pair from Meindl USA and they are made in Germany and are of much better quality and they actually fit me better as well. Been on 2 hunts and so far I am very pleased.

I just put a pair of superfeet “hike” insoles in mine and it’s made a huge difference. All my boots will be getting them.

I’ve got their Vakum Hunter tall boots and love them. I’ve had them before and this is my second pair now. I love their insoles and all my hunting shoes have them including my LLBean rubber bottom boots.
I use to wear their black duty boots for work when Cabelas sold them and probably wore them for 10 years. I believe I went thru 3-4 pair and they were much more comfortable then the Danner Acadias.

Yeah superfeet hikers are good to go.

Did you end up getting the meindls? I have Lowa that I am getting higher miles on.

I have Kibo GTX'S. I don't wear them unless it's going to be in the low teens as they are very warm.

My daughter and I have Meindl Gufferts made in Germany, and they are excellent.

If you have a wide foot or like room to move then these are for you.

Anyone use the Air Revolution Alpine hiker 4.1?

They come in wide sizes…

I normally wear an 11.5 EE but wear a 11 D width in Meindl and they fit perfect. Bought a pair of the Toskana trail shoes and just ordered the Kibo GTX today. Still have the comfort fit hikers I wear early spring and fall, comfort fit 400gr hunters for winter and the hiking shoes in summer. I’m betting you’ll love them if you have a wide foot. I struggle and I’ve tried a pile of brands, Meindl is the only one that fits me perfect.

I bought the Kibos for a trip to Central Asia that fell apart. I have only worn them to break them in but they are sturdy and warm.

Looking forward to trying them out, supposed to be getting some frigid temps the next few weeks.

Got them today, first impression is I’ll be wearing these for many years. They’re built like a tank.
The $20 Meindl insoles was wasted money, I’ll stick them in my old boots and put my superfeet hikers in these.

No kidding, I’ve given. Couple friends with same shoe size a pile of good boots and shoes I’ve bought, tried and could live with. My feet are picky as hell and Meindl always fits me perfect. I’ve given up trying other brands for now.

Are the superfeet hikers different than the green SF?

I boight a pair of the green. They have the arch support, but IMO no cushion…

Im needing some cushion under the fore foot / toes..
