Has anyone seen all of these new T/C videos on YouTube? Looks like they are going to be back up and running in the near future. Would be cool to see some of the classic stuff hitting the street again. But somehow I bet they will manage to put out a bunch of stuff that blends in with the rest of the market.
We’ll see I guess.

It's you and the bullet, and all the rest is secondary.

I hope they bring back their muzzle loader gear. Also they should focus on straight wall cartridges for the center fire chamberings. Lat they need to keep the single shot rifle platform price down to less then a grand with extra barrels not costing as much as a brand new rifle. If not they will fail. The market is flooded with good products at working man prices.

I just hope they don't come out with a bunch of plastic stocked rifles. Some nice quality firearms would be great.

Better late and right, than sooner and problematic. I watched a video from them not long ago that showed just how much stuff that was moved from S&W they were dealing with and it was quite a pile. The guy in charge of getting set up is a long-time TC employee. I'm pretty confident things will sort out. Not really looking to buy anything myself, but am hoping for the best anyway.
What fresh Hell is this?

Getting a manufacturing facility up and running with new products, new employees, etc is no small undertaking. If they’re a little off on their time line it’s understandable. As long as they put out good product in the end that’s what counts. I thought I heard him say in one of the interviews a while back that of their first releases was going to be updated version of the Icon rifle. I think that would be a good move, that was a nice rifle.

I have my fingers crossed that everything goes fast and swimly with the new production. I want the custom shop back and new creations. I'm a little skeptical after the ssk 50 frames took a few years to be made.

They said all along that they wouldn't be at SHOT this year, too much work going on to take the time off. They started allowing preorders for Encores a few weeks back and I'm seeing a few pictures on some TC facebook groups of people who have received some of the first "new" units. I suspect things will pick up quickly.
I share the sentiment that I hope they focus on putting out quality products (Contender, encore, traditional muzzleloaders, etc) and stay FAR away for all the plastic stock cheap azz rifles they were peddling when it was being run by S&W beancounters (I'm looking at you TC Compass, lol)

I hope the new TC products come out soon. As excited as I am for the re-emergence of the brand, especially after their time under S&W, I want them to focus first on quality, even if that means it takes a little longer to hit the market. I also have high hopes that they are going to come back strong on the black powder side.

I am very happy that TC is back in the game. I know that this is a TC thread, but I also want the CVA Scout to grow and prosper as well. I have a soft spot for single shots. We certainly need a quality, affordable single shot!
I am looking forward to ordering my first “new” Encore receiver. 🙂
I have five Encore barrels and a S&W Encore action and love them all. Not sure which action I want to order my next barrel for - Encore or Contender. The only thing that I am sure of is that it will be a 6x45mm or maybe a 222. 🙃
What started out as a desire for a nice, affordable single shot that was available in easy to acquire chamberings has blossomed
I know a lot of guys here are way ahead of me in the number of TC barrels and actions in the safe. I think we can agree about them being great rifles.

I hope they bring back the Compass. I have one in 308 that is great and would like to get one in 223/5.56 Bud's wife has one in .308. It really shoots and she's killed plenty with it. Fav load is 150 NPT over 45 gr. H-4895. He was wanting to buy her a "better" rifle, but she wouldn't have it. He did upgrade her scope to a Zeiss, which I mounted.
