Thanks for that. We had okapi knives here, but I never saw that model. What we had were slipjoints with pressed metal scales that had tabs that folded over the 'liner' on the ends.
As kids we just took the silly scales off.
These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.

Both the folding without the ring lock doo dad.
Had a couple of the locking, but not exactly
