Only looking at the numbers, but the 109 (.295) is slightly higher than the 88 (.274).

Depends. For up to 500 yards probably not but past that most likely.

G1 is .545 for the 88 & .557 for the 109.

I point my 105 Berger VLD's & use .580 for corrected BC, plus add a small velocity gain with the lighter bullet.

Win/win to the Berger......

There's conflicting numbers on the factory 6 GT ammo and some other places.

I've run the advertised .295 G7 BC without adjustment in both a Dasher and Creedmoor...however that equates...

Regarding Midway's pricing, that's Berger rich right there and they aren't Bergers.

For those of you that have shot both the 108 and 109 eld

Do you notice much if any difference in drop/drift inside 600 yards? Is the terminal performance of the 109 about the same as the 108?

I plan on giving the 109 a try sometime but I still have few thousand 108s on the shelf

Can't help you with the terminal performance on game with the 109s...couple K I have shot have all been on steel...

The 109s are more consistent BTO and the advertised BC has held true, unlike the 108s which I had to throttle back.

I noticed the info on the 108 was a little proud in my rifles too. I'll give the 109s a try soon. Seems like a decent jump in numbers for a 1 grain weight penalty

Thanks Josh.

Depends on where you look, I got it from here:

Midway shows .585.

Then there's the Barnes 112 with a claimed G1 of .623. I've only had then to 520 yards but my dope was dead on the money using that number.

88’s are .545,Beer Cans .585. and I shoot .620 in all my barrels with 112’s. Boogers are cute. Hint.

Just sayin’………

Both 18" Fieldcrafts, 22 and 6 Creedmoor and maybe my 6X47.

I'd go 6mm over 22. To push the 88 with a decent speed you're going to have a pretty short barrel life cartridge.

The 6mm 109eld and 112 match burner are great options, and the 112 can be stabilized by a 1:8 243 Tikka barrel just fine
