Do you agree with Buffalo Bore's choices?

Interesting, I was under the impression all Alaskan rifles were stainless, rusty, and covered in tape.

These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.

None of his selections for a "woods bumming firearm" would be my choice in any location, especially Alaska.

ALASKA is a "HARD COUNTRY for OLDMEN". (But if you live it wide'ass open, balls'to the wall, the pedal floored, full throttle, it is a delightful place, to finally just sit-back and savor those memories while sipping Tequila).

Interesting, I wonder what he uses for "hunting" in Alaska, if these are the choices for BUMMING?. And why they would they be different? The filming is in a beautiful setting with some great looking trophies , but he chose to look like he sleeps in his clothes.

If I answered I would get "Flamed" for three weeks. Just take the thread title question apart piece by piece. What is the very least that you need.

Question every assumption.

Interesting, the near total lack of responses to this question. The lack of responses actually answers the question. There is substantial integrity in that.

To terminate an existing project, he mostly used an AR-15 (or possibly occasionally RUGER "ranch rifle"). Most records (Books-the movie-newspaper and TV news) indicate AR-15.

Or were you inquiring reference his poached Big Game........???

12 gauge pump was one of the most seen bumming guns that I saw in Alaska. Mossberg 500 with stock and 20" barrel was one I had for a while.

I carry a .22 LR, that way if I’m in the woods with 79S or another Pard, I can shoot them in the knee and escape when a grizzly charges us.
