I'm interested in picking up a 9mm pistol from CZ. The CZ75 BD looks/feels good to me. For those of you who own the CZ 75 B or BD, has it been reliable and relatively accurate? What don't you like about it, if anything? Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Have a CZ75 D compact. Shoots straight , no malfunctions and feels like it was made for my hand. Much more comfortable than my son's Glock . They are great reliable handguns.
I am a big CZ75 platform fan. I have several in my arsenal that range from CZs, EAA/Tanfollios, and IWI. They are great shooting pistols and are very easy to get to shoot very well. The only difference in the B vs BD is the decocking/saftey system. I have both and prefer the saftey setup over the decocker. SAO models are also available. If you don't mind a little extra carry weight the P01 series/models have rails and more weight out front and help mitigate muzzle flip. Once again down to personal preference. If your a modder I would avoid the Omega trigger models. They are slightly better out of the box but don't have the AM support of the standard triggers. All in told the 75s are my favorite 9mm platform and I even have a few in 10mm that have put venison in the freezer. Great ergos, reliability and accuracy will make you fall in love. Have to be careful though as one will become two, two will become 4 and before you know it you'll have a small arms room of different variations. My top 3 favorites right now are my Shadow 2 SAO, 75B Stainless, and a Tanfollio Pro 10mm.

My luck has been crappy with the CZ-75. The first one I bought was a straight up military version. I couldn't get through a mag without at least one jam. I figured it just needed breaking in, so kept shooting it. Shot over a thousand rounds, and it wasn't improving, so I sold it.
I figured it was a fluke, though, since I had heard nothing but good things about them, so later on I picked up one of the compact carry type variants.
I loved it. If felt great. Carried great. Shot great. It was 100% reliable, but it gave me such bad trigger slap that I couldn't shoot more than fifty rounds before the first pad on my trigger finger was in such pain I had to quit.
Trigger Slap is when, after you pull the trigger and the gun fires, the trigger forcefully snaps forward a fraction of an inch, eventually causing pain to wherever the trigger finger is in contact with it.
As much as I loved that gun, it wasn't worth keeping with that issue, so I sold it.

I am glad you mentioned that as I totally mind dumped this fact. So this is actually caused from the "recurve" triggers that many of these come with from the factory and is actually a result of finger pinch if you have meaty paws. As such I do and its always the first thing I swap out on every one I have. The 85 combat trigger is less curved and fixes the issue. CZ Custom and Cajun both make 85 style drop in triggers to fix this problem. Add a floating trigger pin while you're at it. Out of all my 75s a original 75 w/spur hammer and my IWI Jericho had the worst curved triggers.

I have an 85 B (75 B with ambidextrous safety and slide release) which I really like. More accurate than I am and has been 100% reliable.
I had the same trigger slap issue TRH mentioned, cured it with 50¢ worth of heat shrink. Two layers of it on the trigger cushions it just enough.

I've had about 7 CZ 75's now. Have never once saw one with "trigger slap".. With that being said, I tried out a bunch, and ended up keeping my favorite, the CZ P09. Higher magazine capacity, lighter, and recoils the same as the heavier CZ75 models. If I were going to buy another CZ, it would be the P09.

I have the P01, never had trigger slap. I dropped it by CZ Custom and had a trigger job and short re-set done. Took it from a good pistol to a great pistol.

Yeah, that's the one I had. The P01.

The 75 Pre-B in my go to auto. IMHO it is the best auto for me. Shoots great, never fails & is easy to pack with the alloy frame. The B models are much heavier which is something to consider.
I’ve had a couple, a 75B .40 that had a definite slap, and a 75B Omega Convertible. The new trigger in the Omega was supposed to eliminate the slap, and mine is slap-free, for whatever reason. I just put it on GB through a dealer friend today because like all pivoting triggers I’ve had, it’s uncomfortable on the pad of my finger. Other than that, it’s my favorite auto pistol. Never had a single malfunction with either gun, not one, even when I deliberately limp-wristed them trying to create one. They are super rugged. Check out the torture test on TFB TV.

Yep. That's the one. That was my first CZ, the one that couldn't get through a magazine of FMJ without at least one jam.

A CZ 75 D Compact PCR has been my daily carry for 9 years. Cant find a single fault in it. Dead reliable, very accurate and easy to shoot. Stock grips are perfect and I love the decocker vs a safety.

I also have the P01 and it's been flawless. I haven't touched the trigger, but upgraded the sights. Grips inspired by huntsman22...
