I have the P01, never had trigger slap. I dropped it by CZ Custom and had a trigger job and short re-set done. Took it from a good pistol to a great pistol. I also have the P01 and it's been flawless. I haven't touched the trigger, but upgraded the sights. Grips inspired by huntsman22... ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/bYcLazb.jpeg) I had some cool grips like that on mine, too. Great gun, other than the trigger slap thing. Sure wish it didn't have that issue. Maybe it's only on some of them.

I have been carrying a CZD pcr compact since 2003. It's been trouble free and shoots great. I never noticed a trigger slap issue. ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/rd5hq1Gl.jpg)

My impression is that, while the CZ75 is prone to the trigger slap issue (more so than other makes and models), it's still absent in the majority of them. It's a dice roll.

Sam put me on to that alloy frame CZ75D PCR Compact and I've lived happily ever after. Cajun Gun Works took care of the trigger slap with their Pro kit that and the Dawson fiber optic sights made a perfect handgun even more perfect. Mine has never once jammed even during break in. I handled a stainless 75 with that steel frame I thought that it was a lot heavier than anything that I'd want to carry. A few years back one of the guys ran a tread of what was the best hammer fired 9mm and the Browning Hi-Power was the #1 choice, but the CZ 75 was #2 and a bunch of guys listed the 75D PCR in particular. You won't find CZ's in every gun store, but they are out there. Scheels found one for me in North Dakota and Washington state.
My other auto is a .45

I installed Cajun Gunworks pro kit in my 75 B compact.
All trigger problems were solved and the trigger is better than a Shadow 2 Compact factory trigger both single and double action.
Trigger slap gone. Short reset added. Shortened pull length. I just need to send it in to Cajun to get an optic cut milled.

I'm not into project guns for concealed carry.

Had a SPO1 combat or such. Put money into sights and it was never as accurate as the Tristar knock offs (Canik), or as well finished. If I had seen the test target that came with it, I would have passed. But I sold it at a profit I doubt the Turks would bring, even though they are better. I do get the slap sometimes.

This thread reminded me how much I missed my CZ75. Sold it to decrease my collection before we moved back to Alaska. I just fixed that and ordered another, CZ75 compact. Solid pistols. Never had an issue with my other one.
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.
