https://mustreadalaska.com/harvest-...-to-repurpose-kenai-lng-terminal-assets/

With declining production in the Kenai and Cook Inlet Basins, a lack of extended exploration for proven reserves, and a ready-made facility sitting idle in Kenai, have always thought this was a no-brainer. Many export terminals can be easily turned around to be an import terminal. And much cheaper than a FRSU import facility. Kenai LNG was planning a cold start project in the recent past to prepare for limited LNG imports, but demand back then conflicted with costs. Now there is demand. Now it looks like the game may be afoot.

Accept it will become obsolete shortly after startup if the pipeline goes through…which now looks likely. 🤷‍♂️
