Same. I haven't heard of one gun in 357 in a users hand as of yet, been looking all over the interwebs

The long delay on the 686 Mt Guns isn't making S&W any friends around here. If Ruger made a thin barreled 7 round GP-100 match champion would go there instead.

My local dealer called today & asked if I wanted a 44 as Lipsey told him one was on the way. I passed but assured him I has still in for a 686.

This was reassuring as my dealer isn't high volume with Lipsey's & was thinking they may not be able to obtain them for quite some time. So it looks like the pipeline might be flowing decently considering the news of these was leaked a few weeks before actual plans.

The solid frame of the Ruger Gp100 would be nice and add strength!

Maybe but I don't think the trigger could be tuned the way a S&W can be set up

Then it wouldn't be light weight, which is the appeal of the Mountain Gun.
I love Ruger SA's, but the GP100 I could never warm too.

I love my Model 69 4 1/4"

I don't much care for how it looks though... Still waiting on the .357 MG... if it is a shooter I might pick up a .44 MG. They look like a revolver should IMO.

I carry my 69 daily in the truck or when I’m doing ranch stuff on the hip. Seems like I always ind time to shoot it lol. I’d like that N frame in my chest though when I’m fishing or elk hunting.

Still haven't seen or even heard of a new 357 Mt Gun in the wild yet. Think any at all have shipped out?

I would seriously consider selling a kidney for one of those. I have the porky "normal" model, and it's pretty good, but a lighter weight version would be better.

I also have a 4" standard 617 and it's a good, accurate revolver but it really needs to go on a diet. Basically to be a "packing gun" it needs to go back to being a stainless Model 18 with a slightly skinnier barrel. Losing the lock would be tasty gravy on top.

I don't think so. The 629s showed up on Gunbroker and Gunsinternational way before most people had a crack at one. I haven't seen one of the 357s anywhere

It's been a while now. Have they sent your revolver back to you yet?

Don't be the darkness.

America will perish while those who should be standing guard are satisfying their lusts.

I love the smell of burning dimocrat money in the morning just after an election.
